The SMART Board interactive whiteboard turns
your computer and projector into a powerful tool for teaching, collaborating
and presenting. With a computer image projected onto the board,
you can simply press on its large, touch-sensitive surface to access
and control any application.
Using a pen from the SMART Pen Tray, you can work naturally at the
board to take notes and highlight important information. Whenever

Connected to your computer and combined with

Integrated
The Rear Projection SMART Board 3000i interactive
whiteboard features a 67" (170.2 cm) screen and comes with
an integrated projector. Only 29 1/4" (74.3 cm) deep and with
a tapered shape, it fits into a variety of room settings and easily
into corners.

Deliver interactive presentations and alternate display sources
with the SMART Sympodium IM-150 interactive lectern integration
module in your podium or desk.
Interact with your material
The interactive screen displays your computer image. To control
your computer and write electronic notes, simply touch the screen
with the attached stylus. With your projector displaying the presentation
on a larger screen, your audience can easily follow along.
Save your notes
With SMART Board software installed on your computer, you can write
over top of any computer application and edit your notes. Then save
all this work directly to your computer.
Control Display Sources
Use the simple control panel to switch the data, audio and video
between the internal computer and two other connected devices, such
as a laptop and document camera. The image from the active peripheral
appears on both the IM-150 screen and the auditorium screen.
Features
Interactive Console/ Screen
This 15" (diagonal) screen supports 24-bit
color and native XGA (1024 x 768) resolution, with a viewing angle
of +/- 80°.
Battery-Free Stylus
The stylus is tethered to the console.
Pen-Tool Buttons
Seven buttons assign the stylus output as black, blue, red or green
electronic ink (or custom colors), as an eraser, or as a left- or
right-mouse click. An LED indicates the active function. An eighth
button activates the on-screen keyboard.
On-Screen Display Buttons
Four buttons adjust various screen display settings, such as contrast,
brightness and color.
Communications Indicator
An LED displays the communication status of the console.
SMART X-Port 30 Switch
This 3x1 switch directs the data (serial), audio and video (RGB)
for up to three peripherals, such as an internal computer, laptop
and document camera. The image from the active peripheral appears
on both the IM-150 screen and the auditorium screen. The X-Port
30 unit may be combined with a video scaler to support VCRs, DVDs
and other S-video-based peripherals.
Control Panel
Three buttons switch the peripherals connected to the X-Port 30
switch. The control panel may be left on the X-Port 30 unit or removed
and installed elsewhere on the podium.
Connection Panel
Located at the back of the X-Port 30 unit, the connection panel
provides the serial, audio and RGB connections for various peripherals.
Mounting Brackets
Movable brackets attach the X-Port 30 unit to a standard 19"
rack, or to the top of or under a flat surface.
